Terms and Conditions for Business Women Alliance
Welcome to the Business Women Alliance. By becoming a member, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure a supportive and productive environment for all members.
1. Membership Requirements
• Members are expected to contribute at least 6 hours annually through participation in monthly panels or mentoring activities. This commitment fosters community engagement and supports the professional growth of fellow members.
• Additionally, each member is required to provide a monthly referral to a different member, ensuring diverse networking opportunities and preventing repetitive recommendations. Referrals help strengthen our network and promote collaboration among members, enhancing opportunities for all.
2. Code of Conduct
• Members must maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions within the group. This includes upholding the values of integrity, collaboration, and empowerment.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
• All personal and business information shared within the Alliance must be treated with confidentiality. Members are prohibited from disclosing any sensitive information without explicit consent.
4. Intellectual Property
• Any materials or content shared within the Alliance remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Members must not reproduce or distribute such content without permission.
5. Compliance
• Members must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their participation with the Alliance.
6. Conflict Resolution
• Members are encouraged to address any disputes or disagreements respectfully and constructively among themselves. Open communication is key to maintaining a positive environment.
7. Active Participation
• Members are expected to actively participate in group activities, meetings, and discussions. Consistent engagement helps build a strong community and ensures that all members benefit from shared knowledge and experiences.
8. Feedback and Improvement
• Members are encouraged to provide constructive feedback on group activities and initiatives. This feedback is invaluable for continuous improvement and ensuring the Alliance meets the needs of its members.
9. Diversity and Inclusion
• The Alliance is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Members are expected to support this commitment by promoting equality and inclusivity in all interactions.
10. Use of Resources
• Members should use the Alliance’s resources responsibly and only for purposes aligned with the group’s mission. Misuse of resources will result in termination of membership.
11. Termination of Membership
• Members who do not agree to or fail to comply with these terms and conditions may be asked to leave the group. This policy ensures that the Alliance remains a positive and supportive environment for all participants.
12. Member-Organized Policy
• Please note that some members of the Business Women Alliance host private events for which they charge a fee. The Business Women Alliance (TBWA) serves only as a promotional platform for these events and does not directly manage or profit from them.
Important Considerations:
• Events are organized independently by individual members
• TBWA assists in event promotion as a courtesy to members
• Any concerns or disputes regarding an event must be addressed directly with the event organizer
• The Business Women Alliance assumes no liability for issues arising from member-hosted events
We encourage members to carefully review event details and communicate directly with the event host prior to registration.
13. Amendments to Terms
• The Alliance reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary. Members will be notified of any changes, which will take effect immediately upon communication.
